x402 from zero

Ultravioleta DAO

A Latin American DAO that runs a free, Rust-based x402 facilitator on 22 or more chains, built mostly by one developer with AI tools.

Checked 11 October

Our view

Genuine and very fast engineering: 553 facilitator commits in six months, 89% co-authored by Claude, and about 157 version bumps. Its recent Base volume is not organic: well under 5% of the last 30 days’ transfers showed signs of third-party use, and most came from scripted BotPay loops that ended on 8 October (x402scan transfer analysis). Follow it for what ships.
