Meridian
An anonymous-team facilitator that settles x402 through its own contracts and pays MRDN token cashback on Base volume.
Checked 11 October
Our view
The biggest single distortion in Base dollar totals: it carried 36.5% of Base x402 dollars in the six months to 11 October on 0.2% of transactions, and 41 wallets paying and receiving from each other account for 96% of its lifetime volume (x402scan). It charges a 1% fee and pays MRDN cashback of up to $5 a transaction, which rewards that kind of looping. It made three public commits in six months.
